Mark Patterson will be racing this year as well as Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas, not to mention Joey Hand and Graham Rahal. This isn't the biggest endurance race on the calendar, but it is one of the most exciting, It takes place every January, and is one of the only endurance events that takes place in the United States, with the others in places like Le Mans, Spa Francorchamps and Nurburgring. The track is special too, home to great NASCAR races every year. The world famous tri-oval that the race uses has thirty one degree banked turns and twin horseshoe turns. It is challenging on any day, but after hours of driving can even be more of an obstacle for these endurance drivers.

January 28th through the 30th endurance racing returns with the Daytona 24 Hours, officially called the Rolex 24 at Daytona and part of the Rolex Sports Car Series. This race will happen in Daytona Beach Florida, at the world famous Daytona International Speedway which is a 3.56 miles 12 turn road course that will test the mettle, and the stamina of these drivers.
