Having lost to Arsenal in the Champions Leaguethere will be people in Spain expecting a big performance from Pep Guardiola’s men. The Catalans have great players so one loss is not going to make them break a sweat and in fact could help them improve. What was noticeable in the Arsenal game was that the substitution of David Villa was a turning point and although Messi and Pedro remained on the pitch they seemed decidedly less threatening. Villa may be rested for this game then in order to save him for the tie with Arsenal Valencia which follows just days later. Of Mallorca and Valencia there is no doubt which is the more difficult team to play against.

Mallorca can only dream of beating Barcelona at the moment and with one win in their last four games they will have to accept that this could be ninety minutes of damage limitation. With nothing but pride at stake there is not a lot to get motivated for and Castro and Periera will be concentrating on juts trying to keep the ball as much as possible in the middle of the Park. See how they get off against the Catalans with live streaming football at soccer.trueonlinetv.com.
